Since I’m incredibly bored and can’t seem to do anything sensible, I’m going to make a post about the bass player in Disneyland After Dark, whom I think is awesome! Not because he’s particularly good at playing bass (‘cause he’s not), but because he’s a clown.

D-A-D’s bass player, Stig, has a bass with only two strings instead of four. He originally wanted only one string, but then he could only play two of D-A-D’s songs. Also, most of his bass guitars are shaped like all sorts of different things, like a car, a rocket, an olive on a toothpick and so on. And for every tour D-A-D does, or every album, he wears a new costume in concerts, and so far he’s been a gladiator, a parachute jumper, latex Mickey and a matador to mention some.



He also has a helmet that originally went with his parachute jumper costume I think, but now he usually wears it at the end of every show as some kind of finale. The whole thing looks totally ridiculous, and none of the other band members have costumes or weirdly shaped instruments, but it’s so stupid, it’s actually kind of cool.

Vi har frika helt ut og kjøpt Nesquick. Pakka, som er på 500g, kommer sikkert til å holde i omtrent tre dager. Nam!

They're GIVING these away! There are five kittens, and only two people have said they might take one. So if you want one, or know anyone who might, let me know! It's our renters that own the mother and her kittens now, so it's possible to come and look and ask questions! :)

Har noen lyst til å komme på sminkeparty a la Tupperware-party på torsdag? Det kommer en dame som skal snakke om sminke og kremer og slikt og så kan man kjøpe hvis man vil... Og så blir det kanskje til og med litt koselig. Japp. Send melding om du kan.

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you for a nice birthday party! I didn't get to talk too much with everybody, 'cause I had some friends over that didn't know anybody, but I though it was really great anyway! Too bad most of you had to leave early though. But thanks for the company and the gifts and the cards! :D

For de som vil se på kattunger kan man komme og se til neste uke! :)

Den oppmerksomhetssjuke, fine, svarte katta har fått fem kattunger. Noen som er hypp på katt? Folka vi leier av sa nemlig at de ikke helt visste hva de skulle gjøre med dem, så jeg kan sikkert spørre om noen vil ha.

Jeg har forresten tenkt å feire bursdagen min laurdag 10.februar. Så skriv det ned og hold av datoen. Kommer tilbake med tid og ting.

Å, også blir det syklubb imorgo. Som alle andre søndager.

Førerprøve nummer to gikk mer eller mindre feilfritt, enda jeg så langt ikke hadde hatt en eneste feilfri kjøretime. Faktisk var jeg så usikker at jeg hadde planer om å utsette hele greia. Jeg hadde ikke fått kjørt en dritt i jula, og i de to kjøretimene jeg hadde før oppkjøringa kjørte jeg elendig fordi jeg var skitnervøs og har en tendens til bare å rushe ut i kryss og rundkjøringer når jeg har noia. Og det stryker man jo på. Så jeg var nervøs for å kjøre elendig og jeg kjørte elendig fordi jeg var nervøs.

Men som mor og far og kjæreste og bestevenn sa, så ville jeg nok ikke blitt noe mindre nervøs om jeg hadde tatt den seinere, og det KUNNE jo faktisk hende at jeg klarte det. Og det gjorde jeg! Hurra! Endelig overstått!

Noe av grunnen til at jeg var så nervøs var at jeg allerede hadde stryki en gang (ja, jeg vet at det er ganske vanlig), og mor hadde sagt til meg for en liten stund siden at nå var det snart på tide for lommeboka hennes at jeg blei ferdig snart. Det er nemlig hu som har sponsa hele greia, og hadde jeg stryki nå hadde flere tusen gått rett i dass og enda mer på flere kjøretimer og ny oppkjøring.

Man kan godt si at jeg er letta.

Syklubb a la juleverksted (bare at det ikke er jul) på søndag for de som føler for å komme!

Takk for en fin nyttårsfest!

Jeg hadde i utgangspunktet trodd at vi bare kom til å bli fem-seks stykker, kanskje ti-tolv med vennene til Bunny. Og det var i grunnen akkurat hva jeg hadde ønsket meg, fordi jeg for en gangs skyld følte for å bare snakke og kose meg med folk. Men! Så ville plutselig mange flere bli med og så var vi tjue stykker. Heldigvis ble det ikke kaos og rot i den lille leiligheten, som jeg var redd for, og jeg synes det var en kjempekoslig kveld som jeg i tillegg husker hvert minutt av! ;P

Line & Guro! Jeg mistenker at dere rydda en del før dere dro, så tusen takk for det! :) After Eight armbånd tåler ikke vann...

Og godt nyttår til alle andre som hadde noe bedre å gjøre den kvelden!

Jeg føler meg FULLSTENDIG skjerma fra resten av omverdenen uten internett hjemme! Og nå har far sin maskin krasja også, så jeg har ikke tilgang på internett noe sted! :(

Hva er det folk planlegger på nyttårsaften (Nei, jeg har ikke lest LJ på evigheten, så føl deg fri til å gjenta)? Jeg lurte på om jeg skulle ha noen folk over, hvis ikke alle allerede har planer? Uansett, folk er herved invitert, men gi lyd, så jeg finner ut om det blir noe av eller om jeg bare henger meg på noen andre!

I moved in with Bunny yesterday!

In a basement flat about five minutes from where my dad lives. Almost in the same street. But it’s cheap and I wont have to share my room with my fourteen-year-old brother, plus it's actually very nice there.

I don't have a phone or internet there yet, so I'll probably not be able to read or write on LJ for a couple of weeks. If you need to reach me or tell me something or whatever, send me a message or PHONE me!

Today has been a really shitty day.

A customer at work today, got so upset he said he was going to complain about me to my boss tomorrow, and that he’ll never come back before I’m fired from the store!

The thing is, we have two cash registers, but we only use one of them when there’s only one person at work, so there won’t be any confusion about the line. At the unused cash register we have a sign that says to go to the next one.

But people tend to go to the unused one anyway, cause that’s where you play at Norsk Tipping (though the sign says “Ja, vi vet at tippemaskina star her” on the bottom).

And one man did that today. I didn’t come to him at once, cause I was busy with something else, and I assumed people would come to the right cash register. So after a while, he called for me in a very annoyed tone. I went right to him, but told him that he was in the wrong place. Of course he replied that the gambling machine was right here, and I told him that he still had to line up at the other place. Then he just said he’d gamble somewhere else, and rushed out.

He came back a while later, asking me when my boss would be at work and threatening me with complaints in a way that made me understand him like he wasn’t going to let me get away with this.

I guess he was right in a way, cause there were no other people in line, so there wouldn’t be any confusion anyway. But then again, I didn’t command him to the other register, I simply explained why I didn’t come to him at once, and told him to use the other one so he would do that the next time… And it’s stupid to get so mad over a small thing like that. And it’s certainly stupid to decide to get someone fired over such a small thing!

Bah. I feel like I’m right, but then “the customer’s always right”. Maybe I should’ve just apologized or said nothing in the first place…? What if I do get fired? Either way, I’m not looking forward to the confrontation.
